Our Pealed Roasted Barley MD malt undergoes a high-temperature roasting process in our roasting drum. Once it achieves the target color, it is rapidly cooled. This specific malt contributes a smoky\/roasted flavor and a dark hue to brown beers.<\/p>\n

The use of peeled barley as the starting material helps in eliminating the astringent flavors often associated with roasted chaff.<\/p>\n

This roasted malt is appropriate for use in up to 5% of the grain bill.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
