A classic German aroma hop from the Hersbruck region, Hersbrucker (Spät) has long been a staple of traditional Bavarian brewing. With low alpha acids (typically 2–5%), it offers a delicate, refined character of floral, herbal and mildly fruity-spicy notes. Best reserved for late additions, Hersbrucker lends authentic, understated aromatics to classic German lagers, wheat beers and Kölsch.
