Mandarina Bavaria is a bright modern German hop — juicy tangerine and orange for expressive, fruity beers.
Bred at the Hüll Hop Research Center and released in 2012 as a daughter of Cascade, Mandarina Bavaria was among the first modern German flavour hops. With moderate alpha acids (typically 7–10%), it delivers a distinctive, juicy character of tangerine, orange, pineapple and a berry-like sweetness. Versatile across the boil and dry hop, it brings a bright, unmistakably modern German citrus signature to pale ales, IPAs and fruity lagers alike.
