Released in 2014 by the Hop Breeding Company (originally as Equinox), Ekuanot is a modern American dual-purpose hop with a vivid, layered profile. With high alpha acids (typically 13–15.5%), it works for bittering but truly shines late, offering bright notes of melon, berry, lime, papaya and a characteristic fresh green-pepper lift. Expressive and distinctive, Ekuanot is a favourite for fruit-forward IPAs and pale ales.
