Selected in Idaho and brought to market by Crosby Hops around 2015, Idaho 7 is a modern American dual-purpose hop celebrated for its bold, multidimensional character. With high alpha acids (typically 12–16%), it can bitter firmly, but excels in late and dry-hop additions with pungent notes of pineapple, apricot, red grapefruit and papaya over layers of resinous pine and black tea. Complex and versatile, Idaho 7 bridges classic West Coast and modern tropical profiles.
