Bred by the American Dwarf Hop Association and released in 2015, Pekko is a modern American dual-purpose hop named after the Finnish god of field and crops. With high alpha acids (typically 13–16%), it delivers clean, crisp bitterness alongside a complex aroma of floral and citrus notes with a distinctive herbal, mint-and-sage character and subtle melon fruit. Clean and versatile, Pekko suits pale ales, IPAs and lagers alike.
