Part of the high-alpha CTZ trio (Columbus/Tomahawk/Zeus), Zeus is a powerful American bittering hop widely grown across the US. With alpha acids typically between 13 and 17%, it delivers assertive, clean bitterness alongside a pungent, resinous, spicy and lightly herbal character. Chiefly a bittering hop, it reaches high target IBU efficiently, and can lend a dank, resinous edge when used in later additions.
