Bred at the Hüll Hop Research Center and released in 2015, Callista is a modern German flavour hop with low alpha and high aromatic intensity. With low alpha acids (typically 2–4.5%), it is a pure aroma hop offering sweet notes of apricot, pineapple, honeydew melon and strawberry. Delicate yet expressive, Callista brings a soft, fruity sweetness to pale ales, wheat beers and modern hazy styles.
