Our Chocolate Rye 300 MD malt is created by roasting our Rye Malt MD in our roasting drum at elevated temperatures. This process enhances the malt with the familiar malty and spicy flavors found in regular Rye Malt MD, enriched with additional notes of chocolate, cocoa nibs, and coffee beans.

Perfect for any rye beer, the Chocolate Rye 300 MD malt contributes an extra dimension of complexity to the brew.

This roasted malt can be incorporated into up to 5% of the grain bill.
