The Toasted Rye 40 MD malt is crafted through a slow and gentle roasting of our Rye Malt MD in our roasting drum. This malt infuses the beer with the familiar malty and spicy flavors of regular Rye Malt MD, enhanced with additional notes of cookies and warm bread.

Ideal for any rye beer, the Toasted Rye 40 MD malt brings an extra layer of complexity to the brew.

This roasted malt is suitable for up to 30% of the grain bill.
